Junior Software Tester – Entry Level QA Position

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Tester to join our technology team. This hybrid, entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with a basic understanding of software testing who want to gain hands‑on experience in quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases to verify that software meets requirements and is free of defects.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Perform regression, functional, and usability testing under senior QA guidance.
• Collaborate with developers to clarify issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Document test cases, results, and UI/UX suggestions; support creation of user guides.
• Analyze requirements to create test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and manage test data for various testing scenarios.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or individual with foundational knowledge of software testing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn best practices in testing and user experience design.

Required skills

• Manual testing techniques and tools.
• Test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Laravel, Java, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Postman (optional).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) (optional).
