Junior Software QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with developers, product managers and clients to understand requirements and deliver thorough testing.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams (developers, product managers) to clarify system requirements.
• Review specifications and technical design documents and provide timely feedback.
• Create detailed, well‑structured test plans and test cases for new or updated software.
• Define test methods, execute functional and regression testing, and validate software against documented requirements.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs reported by clients.
• Monitor quality‑assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Investigate non‑conforming software, propose solutions and train users.
• Participate in client management meetings and communicate issue status.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.

Required profile

• Junior‑level experience or academic background in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and clients.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
