Junior PHP Programmer – Web Application Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior PHP Programmer to join our development team. You will work on core PHP‑based applications, enhance web page infrastructure, and collaborate closely with the Application Architect.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret business requirements and technical specifications.
• Write, test, and maintain code according to documented specifications.
• Fix application issues and address code irregularities.
• Provide technical feedback to the Application Architect and report progress.
• Develop and maintain relational database systems and their web interfaces.
• Integrate MySQL databases with PHP applications.
• Collaborate with the Software Development Supervisor and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Graduate in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience with MVC frameworks in PHP, or a fresh graduate with strong fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• PHP (MVC frameworks, preferably CodeIgniter)
• AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• MySQL and relational database design
• Experience with third‑party APIs and web services (a plus)
