Junior Accountant – Accounting Operations

About the role

The Junior Accountant joins the Accounting Operations team to support day‑to‑day financial processes, reporting, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with senior accountants, the role ensures accurate financial data and efficient workflows across multiple accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with journal entries, intercompany accounting and accruals under supervision.
• Perform basic balance‑sheet reconciliations, fixed‑asset tracking and headcount cost monitoring.
• Support month‑end revenue recognition, period‑end close and preliminary management reporting.
• Help prepare statutory financial statements, audit documentation and annual filings (including ESG and insurance data).
• Monitor daily cash‑flow, conduct bank reconciliations and process payments following controls.
• Support local tax compliance, payroll tax processing and withholding tax documentation.
• Manage property transactions, lease accounting and related documentation.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement opportunities in collaboration with Global Business Services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5‑7 years of relevant accounting experience.
