IT System Administrator

About the role

As an IT System Administrator you will ensure the availability, security, and performance of server platforms, virtualization environments, and core infrastructure services that support plant operations, the Network Operations Control Center (NOCC), and corporate users. You will work closely with IT Operations, Network Operations, Cyber & OT Security, and Solutions teams to maintain stable IT services and contribute to the company’s mission of transforming energy.

Key responsibilities

• Administer physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and core infrastructure platforms.
• Plan and distribute workload, track team performance, and mentor staff.
• Serve as the first escalation point for site‑impacting incidents and recurring operational issues.
• Manage incident and service request logging, categorisation, and resolution within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with NOCC, plant operations, and OT teams when IT systems affect operational visibility.
• Oversee patching, OS updates, security hardening, and routine maintenance.
• Monitor system health indicators, drive proactive remediation, and validate backup and restore processes.
• Lead major incident handling, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
