IT System Administrator

About the role

As an IT System Administrator you will manage and support server platforms, virtualization environments, and core infrastructure services that enable plant operations, the Network Operations Control Center (NOCC), and corporate users. The role ensures systems are secure, patched, backed up, and operating within defined standards while providing advanced technical support for escalated incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Administer physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and core infrastructure platforms.
• Plan and distribute workload, track team performance, and mentor staff.
• Serve as first escalation point for site‑impacting incidents and recurring operational issues.
• Log, categorize, and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with NOCC, plant operations, and OT teams when IT systems affect operational visibility.
• Oversee patching, OS updates, security hardening, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor system health indicators and drive proactive remediation.
• Execute backup jobs, restore testing, and validate data protection routines.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a strong interest in IT infrastructure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with IT Operations, Network Operations, Cyber & OT Security, and Solutions teams.
