IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide end‑user desktop support, install and configure workstations, and troubleshoot network issues. The role is based onsite at our Iloilo Business Park location and offers opportunities to work with both Windows and macOS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve desktop computer issues, including hardware, printer, and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, and related software.
• Perform daily backup procedures and liaise with third‑party vendors for problem resolution.
• Support trade‑show setups, which may involve periodic travel.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure using monitoring tools.
• Handle incidents across hardware, software, telecommunications, and business applications.
• Assist with rollout of new software packages, upgrades, and hardware deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical support, service desk, desktop support, or similar roles.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and customer‑service skills.
• Average to above‑average English communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Active Directory user and access management.
• ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
• A+ Certification (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of ITIL incident management and service request processes.
