IT Specialist – Immediate Hire

About the role

We are looking for an IT Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support and maintain our IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while ensuring system security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to end‑users for hardware, software and network problems.
• Administer and maintain servers, databases and business applications.
• Monitor LAN performance and internet connectivity, and perform regular maintenance.
• Install, configure and update computer hardware, peripherals and software.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, manage user access controls and conduct security audits.
• Manage data backup procedures, test disaster recovery plans and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations and procedures.
• Create user guides, conduct training sessions and support employee onboarding tasks such as biometrics enrollment and email setup.
• Recommend and implement infrastructure upgrades and schedule periodic hardware/software maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Customer‑oriented attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.
