IT Software Tester

About the role

Home Credit Philippines is looking for an experienced IT Software Tester to join its technology team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications to design test cases, scripts, and data.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, record results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business users to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and component testing.
• Maintain detailed defect records and work with developers on retesting procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in software testing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the software testing life‑cycle, testing levels, and estimation techniques.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• API testing using SOAP‑UI and POSTMAN.
• Testing of web‑based and mobile applications.
• Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL).
• Familiarity with test and defect management tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
