IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to protect our current environment while designing the next generation of security infrastructure. You will be a key player in incident response, forensic investigations, and the hands‑on rollout of advanced security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deep‑dive forensic investigations into security breaches or anomalies.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to threats in real‑time as part of Security Operations.
• Act as technical lead for new security projects, from design through full‑scale deployment.
• Configure and optimise a diverse stack including EDR/XDR, Next‑Gen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and Zero Trust Network Access.
• Implement and manage encryption, tokenization, and key‑management strategies to protect data at rest and in transit.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and cross‑functional IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations or engineering.
• Proven ability to stay calm under pressure and make analytical decisions during incidents.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with EDR/XDR solutions for threat hunting.
• Hands‑on experience with Next‑Gen Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, VPNs and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Memory, disk and network forensics expertise.
• Deep understanding of cryptographic protocols, Key Management Systems (KMS) and data masking/tokenization.
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools and securing CI/CD pipelines.
