IT Helpdesk Technician – Relocation to Philippines

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑oriented IT Helpdesk Technician to join our growing team. The role involves providing first‑line technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services for end‑users in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email or ticketing system and deliver timely support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals and software applications.
• Set up user accounts, manage access controls and enforce cybersecurity policies.
• Document issues, solutions and create user guides for future reference.
• Collaborate with the wider IT team to escalate and resolve complex incidents.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Provide user training on best practices and new technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Helpdesk Technician or similar support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, hardware components and cloud‑based applications.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are a plus.
