IT Developer/Programmer – Build Scalable Applications

About the role

The IT Developer/Programmer reports directly to the IT Manager and is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining high‑quality software applications. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java, Python, PHP, and the Laravel framework.
• Develop and expose APIs to support application functionality.
• Collaborate with project managers and the IT Manager to define and implement new features.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL or NoSQL databases and related data structures.
• Create unit and integration tests and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest process improvements.
