Investment Operations Associate

About the role

The Investment Operations & Fund Accounting Associate I is an entry‑level position supporting accounting, reconciliation and reporting for a variety of investment products, including hedge funds, private markets and traditional assets. The role offers exposure to global portfolios and the chance to develop expertise in fund administration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cash, position, transaction and security reconciliations with brokers, custodians and fund administrators.
• Process investment accounting tasks such as journal entries, accruals and general‑ledger updates.
• Assist in month‑end and quarter‑end reporting, including GAV and NAV calculations.
• Book and settle transactions across equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, futures and options.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Utilise investment systems and market‑data tools to validate pricing and securities information.
• Support hedge‑fund and private‑markets accounting, including portfolio valuation.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and documentation updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates and early‑career professionals.
• Internship or academic exposure to accounting, investment operations, fund administration or capital markets is preferred.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities with solid accounting knowledge.
