Investment Funds Attorney – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Attorney to join a global financial services leader on a remote basis. The attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of fund‑related legal documents while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. This contract position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise fund documentation, including offering memoranda, limited partnership agreements, side letters, and subscription agreements.
• Provide legal advice on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and investor relations.
• Collaborate with fund managers, compliance teams, and external counsel to resolve legal and operational issues.
• Conduct due diligence on fund investments and assess associated legal risks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulations affecting investment funds and private equity.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar association.
• Minimum three years of experience in investment funds, private equity, or related legal practice.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.
