Inventory Team Leader

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Team Leader to oversee inventory performance at our warehouse site. The role will ensure accurate stock counts, timely reporting, and effective collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and provide reports on site inventory performance according to agreed timelines.
• Establish guidelines for cycle‑count planning and issue special instructions as needed.
• Immediately report significant inventory variances to the Site Manager, Sector and Country Inventory Lead.
• Respond promptly to customer queries on inventory, coordinating with site management for accurate information.
• Lead investigations of inventory variances, focusing on those with the greatest impact, and maintain proper records.
• Analyze data from inventory counts to identify areas for improvement or amplification.
• Collaborate with all necessary stakeholders to address issues affecting inventory accuracy.
• Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure KPI attainment and clear execution of expectations.
• Support site‑management programs to achieve operational and company‑wide goals.
• Provide first‑level support for issues related to the DSC Warehouse Management System.
• Monitor ageing stock and coordinate depletion plans with customers.
• Track damaged product inventory and work with customers on final disposition or disposal plans.

Required profile

• College graduate (minimum).
• Experience in warehouse or logistics is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in inventory and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to start immediately and meet all government requirements.
