Inventory and Operations Specialist – Walmart Channels

About the role

The Inventory and Operations Specialist will manage end‑to‑end inventory visibility, purchase‑order coordination, and supply‑chain execution for Walmart, DTC, B2B, and two fulfillment centers. Working at the heart of operations, you will collaborate with internal teams, fulfillment partners, and channel partners to keep inventory flowing, avoid stockouts, and eliminate overstock or shipment delays.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, submit, track and confirm monthly purchase orders with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels across fulfillment centers and active SKUs.
• Run daily checks on key SKUs and immediately flag stockout risks.
• Forecast demand for DTC, B2B and Walmart channels.
• Manage Walmart inventory through RJW and SPS Commerce workflows.
• Upload reports to forecasting tools and review inventory recommendations.
• Lead weekly meetings on POs, production and shipments.
• Track inbound shipments and verify receipt at the correct facility.
• Allocate inventory between fulfillment centers and channel needs.
• Maintain accurate PO, inventory, shipment and forecast trackers.
• Document updates, risks, action items and recommendations for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in inventory, supply‑chain, logistics or e‑commerce operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Walmart operations, forecasting and inventory planning.
• Proficiency with SPS Commerce for EDI, order management or shipment workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work full‑time on EST schedule.
