Insurance Verification and Authorization Trainer

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking an Insurance Verification and Authorization (IV/Auth) Trainer to design and deliver revenue‑cycle training for its BGC, Taguig operations. The trainer will support new hires and existing staff in mastering insurance verification, authorization processes and related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom‑based and virtual training sessions on revenue‑cycle systems, applications, processes and procedures.
• Develop and update training materials, including guides, manuals, e‑learning modules and documentation.
• Facilitate onboarding and refresher courses, schedule sessions and track attendance.
• Collaborate with leadership and quality teams to identify training needs and implement solutions.
• Analyze training data, prepare performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Provide guidance on adult‑learning methodologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance verification and authorization.
• At least 1 year of experience delivering training, preferably within a revenue‑cycle function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and US healthcare payer environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (CEFR B2 or higher).

Required skills

• Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner or Meditech.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
