Information Technology Instructor

About the role

The School of Information and Technology at Divine Word College of Calapan seeks a full‑time Information Technology Instructor to deliver undergraduate IT courses. The role involves designing curriculum‑aligned lectures, labs, and project‑based learning for BSIT students and fostering industry‑relevant skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course syllabi, lecture materials, and laboratory exercises.
• Assess student performance, maintain accurate grades and records, and provide academic advising.
• Mentor capstone projects and research, integrating current industry tools and practices.
• Coordinate with industry partners to arrange internships and experiential learning opportunities.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Demonstrated teaching or training experience at the college level.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and academic administrators.
• Relevant industry certifications and professional IT experience are strong assets.
