Information Security Engineer

About the role

As an Information Security Engineer you will safeguard the organization’s data by continuously monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and hardening systems. You will work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across endpoints, networks, and enterprise systems.
• Manage and tune SIEM platforms, perform alert triage and log analysis.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and document remediation steps.
• Administer endpoint security solutions such as EDR, antivirus, and DLP.
• Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in coordination with relevant teams.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, email security, and identity/access management tools.
• Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in SecOps, cyber engineering, or security infrastructure.
• Proven experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong understanding of endpoint protection tools (EDR, antivirus, DLP).
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation processes.
