Information Security Analyst II

About the role

Global Payments is seeking an Information Security Analyst II to join its InfoSec & Data Protection team. You will help protect the company’s payment platforms and data by implementing security solutions, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, test, recommend, and deploy security technologies aligned with enterprise standards and compliance frameworks.
• Monitor complex systems for emerging threats using intrusion detection and prevention tools.
• Investigate security events by analyzing logs, correlating feeds, and triaging incidents across diverse environments.
• Design and configure enterprise security components such as proxies, remote‑access gateways, mail gateways, IPS, wireless security, DLP, SIEM, and web‑application firewalls.
• Develop threat models, perform risk assessments, and conduct compliance audits (ISO, PCI, HIPAA, etc.).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with endpoint security, EDR, SIEM, DLP, and related technologies.
• Experience in network operations, system administration (Unix, Linux, macOS, Windows) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with security compliance programs such as PCI, SOX, GLBA.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
