Independent Attorney – Remote Contract (AI Training)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced attorney to join our client’s team on a remote, contract basis. You will apply your contract law expertise to evaluate and improve AI‑generated contract drafts, helping to train next‑generation models across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, assessing AI‑suggested language for accuracy and risk.
• Review AI responses to real‑world contract scenarios and provide detailed feedback to enhance model performance.
• Work closely with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in AI‑generated drafts and propose legally sound corrections.
• Ensure high‑quality legal input that improves the reliability of AI systems used for contract drafting and negotiation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating contracts in a legal or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot legal risks in contract language.
• Familiarity with SaaS agreements, technology transactions, and data‑annotation practices in a legal context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear articulation of legal reasoning.
