About the role
The Imports and Registration Assistant supports the end‑to‑end importation, customs clearance and vehicle registration processes for an automotive logistics operation. The role ensures compliance with local automotive regulations and maintains accurate documentation throughout the import cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all required vehicle import and customs documentation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents and licensing authorities to facilitate smooth clearance.
- Track shipments and monitor registration status to meet timelines.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, licensing and other compliance requirements.
- Maintain up‑to‑date import and registration records.
Required profile
- Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in imports, customs, logistics or vehicle registration.
- Basic knowledge of customs and vehicle registration procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
