Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Advanced Energy is seeking a hands‑on Human Resources Generalist to provide end‑to‑end HR support for a moderate employee population of roughly 200‑350 staff members. The role focuses on day‑to‑day employee relations, execution of HR programs, labor compliance, and enhancing the employee experience within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for supervisors, managers, and employees, guiding them on policies, procedures, and people‑related concerns.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, including investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and resolutions in line with labor laws and internal policies.
• Execute core HR processes such as hiring, onboarding, performance‑management cycles, disciplinary actions, employee engagement initiatives, and separations.
• Partner with managers to address performance or conduct issues and ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain compliance with labor regulations, support audits and inspections, and keep accurate employee data in HR systems.
• Prepare basic workforce metrics reports to aid decision‑making.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development) to deliver consistent site‑level HR programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of HR experience supporting a defined employee population.
• Working knowledge of labor laws, employee‑relations processes, and HR policies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, operational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
