Human Resources Business Partner – Davao

About the role

The People Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a bridge between employees and management in Davao, ensuring positive workplace relations and compliance with Philippine labor regulations. You will design, implement and communicate labour‑relations programs while providing data‑driven insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and communicating employee and labor‑relations programs and procedures.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Compile and analyse economic impact data of proposals from labour and management.
• Guide managers on grievance handling, disciplinary actions and other employee‑relations practices.
• Facilitate meetings between labour and management to resolve mutual concerns.
• Collect initial information from employees on work‑related issues and refer for appropriate action.
• Pull and analyse HR statistics and progress reports.
• Support the Engagement Office in designing local employee‑engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, performance management and training.
• Familiarity with best practices in employee relations, conflict resolution and benefits administration.
• Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and ability to apply them in HR policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bajada, Davao City with flexible shifting schedules, including occasional overtime.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
