About the role
The Hub Sorter works in a fast‑paced UPS hub, handling packages throughout the shipping cycle. You will load, unload, sort, scan and stock parcels, ensuring they move efficiently through the network.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
- Sort, scan, and stock parcels according to UPS handling methods.
- Utilize heavy machinery when required to move large volumes of packages.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors in a high‑tempo environment.
Required profile
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) repeatedly.
- Capability to read and memorize postal codes accurately.
- Flexibility to work varying shift hours, up to five days per week.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
