HR Associate (Staff Development and Learning)

About the role

Within the Integrated Talent Management Division of the International Organization for Migration, the Staff Development and Learning (SDL) unit delivers learning and professional development programmes for staff. The HR Associate – Staff Development and Learning supports the unit’s ticketing system, learning platforms, digital tools and study‑leave processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operation of the unit’s ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of learning‑related service requests.
• Monitor incoming tickets, coordinate with colleagues, and generate performance reports for supervisors.
• Administer one or more learning platforms, conduct live demos, video tutorials and user guides to build stakeholder capacity.
• Maintain study‑leave tracker, process study‑leave requests and provide regular status updates to the supervisor and Head of SDL.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, HR, Business Administration or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or high‑school diploma with five years of experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in learning management system administration and ticketing system usage, plus experience in HR, learning & development or marketing.

Required skills

• Administration of ticketing systems and learning management systems (LMS).
• High proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Forms, SharePoint, Word and Excel (pivot tables, charts, slicers, conditional formatting, formulas).
• Knowledge of Oracle, data management, data visualisation, statistics and monitoring & evaluation.
