HR Assistant – Employee & Labor Relations

About the role

The HR Assistant – Employee & Labor Relations supports the implementation of employee‑relations programs to foster a positive, engaged, and harmonious workplace. You will help address employee grievances, coordinate investigations, and assist with disciplinary processes while maintaining confidential records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, document, and help resolve employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
• Assist in investigations and prepare necessary documentation.
• Support the implementation of disciplinary and corrective‑action processes in line with company policies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee‑relations case files and reports.
• Facilitate employee‑engagement activities, programs, and initiatives.
• Gather employee feedback and help identify engagement concerns.
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers on relations matters.
• Monitor and prepare reports on cases, engagement activities, and HR metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in employee relations.
• Knowledge of grievance handling, disciplinary procedures and basic labor standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and follow‑through skills.
