Hospital Pharmacist (Oncology)

About the role

The Hospital Pharmacist will join a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure safe, effective, and accurate medication use for cancer patients. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Arca South, Taguig City, and supports both clinical and operational pharmacy functions.

Key responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions, perform dosage calculations and dispense medications accurately.
• Compound specialized oncology preparations following sterility and regulatory standards.
• Review medication orders, monitor drug therapies, and check for potential interactions.
• Provide medication counseling and pharmaceutical care in coordination with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain inventory, storage conditions, and compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and infection‑control protocols.
• Participate in clinical rounds and support oncology treatment protocols.
• Contribute to medication safety and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in the Philippines; hospital or oncology pharmacy experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge in pharmacy, medicine, and clinical pharmacology applied in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with a patient‑centered approach.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Arca South, Taguig City and adapt to shifting schedules as needed.
