About the role

Leonides S. Virata Memorial School is seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher to join its faculty in Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering engaging mathematics instruction to secondary students while fostering critical thinking and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Assess student performance through quizzes, tests, projects, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Integrate educational technology tools to enhance instructional delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for mentoring high‑school learners and promoting an inclusive classroom.
