About the role

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Receptionist to join our rapidly growing virtual administrative support team. This part-time remote position involves managing patient scheduling, insurance verification and billing while providing general reception support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and billing processes for patients.
• Handle invoicing and manage payment-related documentation.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Conduct follow-up communications with patients as needed.
• Provide general healthcare reception and administrative assistance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a healthcare receptionist.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification and billing procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interactions.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and patient follow-up systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and report to management.
