Head of Finance / Financial Controller

About the role

Intellect is seeking a senior finance leader to head its finance function as it scales across Asia and globally. Reporting to the CEO and VP Finance, the Head of Finance / Financial Controller will ensure robust financial discipline, accurate reporting, and effective cash management to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax and compliance.
• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Design and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies and governance processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and monitor financial risk.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors and accounting partners.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance professional with proven controllership experience.
• Ability to operate across strategic and operational finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail combined with commercial awareness.
• Experience managing month‑end close, internal controls and budgeting processes.
• Comfortable partnering with executive leaders and external stakeholders.
