Head of Architecture

About the role

The Head of Architecture leads a high‑performing design function, delivering large‑scale mixed‑use, residential, commercial and giga projects. The role blends technical excellence, commercial awareness and strong leadership to drive multidisciplinary teams, client relationships and fast‑paced project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and expand the Architecture department in line with business growth, establishing design standards, operational frameworks and best practices.
• Oversee concept‑to‑detailed design for complex projects, coordinating with MEP, infrastructure and master‑planning teams.
• Drive BIM‑led design using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and advanced BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with international standards and authority approvals.
• Manage senior‑level client engagements, presentations, design approvals and conflict resolution.
• Monitor project KPIs, risks and profitability while supporting commercial proposals and bid strategies.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multicultural team across multiple locations, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Champion digital transformation, automation and sustainability initiatives across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 18 + years of experience in architecture/engineering, with a proven track record on large‑scale projects.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary design teams in a global environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage client expectations under pressure.
