About the role
The Head Accountant leads the finance team, ensuring accurate accounting operations and compliance with regulations. This senior position prepares key financial reports and supports strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with auditors during fiscal year‑end and special audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities and ability to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP.
