About the role

The Graduate Trainee Program 2026 – Retail Tech offers recent graduates a fast‑track pathway into the technology side of banking. Starting in January 2027, you will receive intensive technical and theoretical training while working on real‑world retail technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cross‑functional projects that support ING's retail technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and global teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Engage with mentors and coaches to develop professional competencies.
• Contribute to project planning, analysis, and documentation.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (2026) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
• Demonstrated leadership in university organizations, committees, or projects.
• Strong academic performance; honors or Latin distinctions are a plus.
• Exposure to banking, finance, or technology environments is advantageous.
