General Service Technician (Entry Level)

About the role

We are seeking an honest, dedicated General Service Technician to join our team in Muskegon, MI. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair under the guidance of experienced technicians, while upholding our shop’s reputation for quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general automotive maintenance and repair tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and other services across a wide range of makes and models.
• Complete work orders accurately and ensure all paperwork and notes are organized.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining positive relationships with customers by delivering reliable service.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and familiarity with multiple vehicle makes and models.
• Dependable, honest, organized and able to work weekends and some holidays.
• Willingness to receive instruction, follow shop procedures, and keep automotive knowledge up‑to‑date.
• Some training or experience in automotive repair and use of tools.
