General Ledger Accountant – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

Circles is seeking a meticulous General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join its Shared Service Center in the Philippines. You will own month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while supporting multiple country entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries for revenue, fixed assets, intercompany, payroll, prepayments, provisions, accruals, and other transactions.
• Arrange monthly intercompany recharges, confirmations, and settlements.
• Maintain the fixed assets register and perform monthly depreciation runs.
• Complete bank reconciliations, investigate unusual items, and resolve discrepancies.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing using Oracle Fusion, handling the full set of accounts for assigned countries.
• Refine existing closing processes, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to internal finance projects.

Required profile

• Experienced GL accountant with a strong eye for detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate month‑end and year‑end closes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
