General Accounting Manager

About the role

The General Accounting Manager will lead the timely closing of books, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance across the organization. This senior finance professional will collaborate with auditors, tax teams, and commercial finance partners to deliver high‑quality financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Close books on schedule with thorough analysis of key account movements.
• Review key balance‑sheet accounts, identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare external reporting requirements such as Annual Report, Mancom Reports, interim updates, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors for finalization of annual financial statements.
• Evaluate and improve the monthly close process for efficiency and quality.
• Develop members of the Financial Reporting team and the broader finance function.
• Partner with the Commercial Finance Team to deliver monthly rolling forecasts and the annual budget.
• Support the Tax Compliance team for BIR audit requirements.
• Provide accounting for ad‑hoc group projects.
• Assist other departments with financial reporting inquiries.

Required profile

• Accountancy graduate with CPA qualification.
• Proficiency in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting.
• Preferably 3 years of audit experience.
