Game Development Instructor

About the role

The University of Perpetual Help System – Laguna is seeking a full‑time Game Development Instructor to join its faculty in Calabarzon, Philippines. The instructor will lead undergraduate courses covering programming, game design, and hands‑on project work, fostering creativity and technical competence among students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously update lecture and lab materials for game development subjects.
• Conduct classroom and laboratory sessions, guiding students through individual and team projects.
• Assess student performance via assignments, exams, portfolio reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues to align curricula with current industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in program development, student activities, and promote an inclusive, learner‑centered environment.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience in game programming, gameplay programming, and game design.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience with strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to create project‑based learning activities and guide students in building professional portfolios.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary academic setting.
