Functional Consultant – Oracle Utilities (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Functional Consultant with expertise in Oracle Utilities to join our U.S. client’s energy and utilities transformation projects. The role involves bridging business needs and technical solutions to enhance utility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with clients to determine solution specifications and ensure clear understanding of business needs.
• Provide two‑way communication between the customer and the extended project team to maintain alignment.
• Consult on credit decisioning as a subject‑matter expert in software development processes.
• Interpret and adapt information, translating business requirements into actionable insights.
• Work with customers on both functional and technical aspects of project delivery and support.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience as a Functional Consultant.
• Experience with Oracle Utilities.
• Experience with meter‑to‑cash processes.
• Experience with billing, payments, credits, and collections.
• Experience with customer information and rate schedules.
• Experience conducting business requirements workshops and functional design.
• Experience with UAT process mapping and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate business needs into system changes.
