About the role
IBM Consulting is looking for a bilingual Fullstack Developer who can work on client‑driven projects in the Philippines. The role involves building and maintaining server‑side functionality for interactive web and mobile applications while collaborating with multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and integrate web services using Java, Ruby, Perl, Python, Bash and related protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST).
- Integrate databases with applications through various APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange and storage.
- Orchestrate page flow and user interactions across CMS, eCommerce, CRM, cloud infrastructure and CDN environments.
Required profile
- Experience with full‑stack development, focusing on server‑side core functionality for web and mobile apps.
- Willingness to work client‑dictated shifts (day, mid, or night) and be based in IBM locations (Quezon City or Cebu).
- Japanese language proficiency with JLPT N1‑N3 certification.
Required skills
- Programming languages: Java, Ruby, Perl, Python, Bash, Git.
- Web technologies: HTTP, SOAP, REST, web services.
- Platform experience: CMS, eCommerce, CRM systems, cloud infrastructure, CDN.
