Full Stack Developer (AI) – Senior Associate

About the role

As a Senior Associate Full Stack Developer specializing in AI, you will lead the technical delivery of AI‑driven platforms for client engagements. You will design end‑to‑end architectures, mentor junior team members, and ensure solutions are both impressive and production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full technical architecture of AI‑powered platforms, from data ingestion and model orchestration to frontend experience and deployment.
• Design and implement agentic AI systems such as multi‑step reasoning pipelines, tool‑calling agents, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows using frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI.
• Build and optimise Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including chunking strategies, embedding models, hybrid search and re‑ranking, and rigorously evaluate retrieval quality.
• Collaborate with engagement managers and clients to scope solutions, estimate effort and manage delivery risk.
• Set technical standards, review code, and mentor Associates and consultants on AI tooling.
• Address responsible AI considerations—including data privacy, model explainability and audit trails—especially in regulated sectors.
• Identify reusable patterns across projects and contribute to firm‑wide AI accelerators and frameworks.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience with a clear AI/ML focus.
• Production‑level proficiency in React or Vue for the frontend and Python or Node.js for the backend.
• Deep familiarity with large language model integration patterns, prompt engineering and multi‑turn conversation management.
• Experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) and RAG or semantic search systems using vector stores.
• Solid understanding of API design, authentication and cloud deployment on major providers.
• Ability to communicate technical architecture to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI governance or regulated industry contexts is a plus.
