Full Charge Bookkeeper – Retail & POS Integration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of a high‑end tile, stone and luxury home‑fixture retailer in Southern California. You will act as the financial backbone, ensuring clean books, accurate reconciliations, and timely reporting for ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders and customer payments; manage aging reports and follow up on receivables.
• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations for all accounts.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow reports.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual tax preparation with an external CPA.
• Run semi‑monthly or bi‑weekly payroll through ADP, including tax filings and employee onboarding/off‑boarding.
• Reconcile daily Lightspeed POS sales data with QuickBooks Online, ensuring correct product, tax and payment mappings.
• Maintain a clean, audit‑ready general ledger and enforce consistent chart‑of‑accounts coding.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of full‑charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in retail or product‑based businesses.
• Proven ability to work independently with high accuracy.
• Experience collaborating with owners and external accountants.
