Fraud Analyst – Remote Freelance

About the role

The client, a fast‑growing wellness brand, is expanding its fraud team to provide 24‑hour coverage. This remote freelance position will handle complex, high‑risk cases independently, protecting the community while ensuring a safe customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review high‑risk orders and accounts, making independent decisions to approve, cancel, or escalate.
• Identify and document fraud patterns, monitor spikes during product launches, and contribute to internal safeguards.
• Handle sensitive customer interactions with empathy and discretion, collaborating with the wider team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Fraud Specialist or Analyst reviewing high‑risk cases.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work flexible, non‑standard hours.

Required skills

• Familiarity with fraud review tools such as Shopify fraud analysis, Stripe Radar, Signifyd, Riskified, or similar.
• Chargeback and dispute handling, pattern recognition, and data‑driven analysis.

What we offer

• Compensation: $7.00 per hour after training, paid weekly.
