Food and Beverages Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverages Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the restaurant area within SM East Ortigas, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and safety. This role combines team leadership with hands‑on management of inventory, cash handling, and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and discipline kitchen, cashiers, and service crew to achieve performance targets.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation and quality control standards at all times.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation (FIFO) and waste control to optimise profitability.
• Oversee POS operations, cash handling procedures and end‑of‑shift reporting.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Schedule staff, monitor labor costs and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
• Conduct training sessions, onboarding and continuous coaching for team members.
• Analyse sales performance and implement strategies to meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• At least 23 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or F&B environment.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety and sanitation.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
