Financial Reporting Accountant

About the role

The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial close across multiple entities. You will manage the full reporting cycle, from journal entry preparation to balance‑sheet reconciliations, while maintaining compliance with PFRS/IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals and adjustments on schedule.
• Produce accurate financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement and cash‑flow statements.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and detailed variance analysis.
• Apply and interpret financial reporting standards consistently across all entities.
• Coordinate with external auditors during interim and annual audits, providing required documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum five years of managerial experience in financial reporting, consolidation and statement review.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and solid business acumen.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PFRS, IFRS and GAAP reporting standards.
• Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, look‑ups).
• Competent use of MS Office suite.
