Financial Planning and Analysis Officer (MIS Officer)

About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis Officer (Management Information Systems Officer) is responsible for end‑to‑end production of Finance MIS and management reporting, delivering accurate dashboards, KPI packs and performance analytics for senior management, ALCO and the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly and monthly Finance MIS packs, including dashboards, KPI scorecards, trend analysis and variance explanations.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources such as the General Ledger, core banking sub‑ledgers, reconciliation outputs, InstaPay/PesoNet, Mastercard, and deposit/loan systems.
• Maintain and improve reporting sets covering liquidity, cash position, deposit and loan portfolios, fee and transaction volume, reconciliation and exception metrics, and regulatory KPIs.
• Perform data quality controls, reconciliations, audit trails, version control and document assumptions.
• Build standardized templates, metric dictionaries, report logic, mapping tables and data lineage notes.
• Support month‑end close by providing MIS schedules, variance packs and movement analyses.
• Coordinate with Finance, Treasury, Risk and Operations to add narrative commentary and explain drivers behind data movements.
• Automate reporting processes using Power Query/Excel automation, Google Sheets scripts, SQL and BI tools.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses on pricing, profitability, product performance, operational loss drivers and partner performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
