Financial Controller (Remote)

About the role

We are a Dubai‑registered creative performance agency serving high‑growth fintech and AI companies worldwide. We need a seasoned Financial Controller to own and run our global finance function, working remotely with close overlap to UK and UAE business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global invoicing in USD and GBP across multiple markets.
• Lead collections, optimise Days Sales Outstanding and ensure on‑time payments to staff, partners and suppliers.
• Deliver month‑end closes and comprehensive reporting packs.
• Maintain revenue sheets, operational dashboards and client‑level margin analyses.
• Oversee global payroll for 13 countries using Deel, including contractor onboarding/offboarding.
• Process high‑volume influencer and creator payments and supplier disbursements.
• Reconcile business accounts, monitor daily cash positions and drive rolling cash‑flow forecasts.
• Within the first 90 days, prepare VAT and UAE corporate tax filings, manage IFZA license renewals, handle subscription renewals, ensure contract compliance and lead finance onboarding for new clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Senior Accountant.
• Strong track record in high‑volume, multi‑currency environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results with minimal supervision.

• Xero (mandatory operational competence).
• Deel payroll platform.
• WIO financial management tool.
