Financial Controller – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to support a fast‑growing founder‑led business that operates across ecommerce, digital media, and brand studio services. This remote, contractor‑based position will work closely with the CEO to maintain visibility and control over both business and financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping and financial administration for two business entities.
• Handle client invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate, audit‑ready financial records.
• Prepare financial data for accountants and tax compliance.
• Track cash flow, forecast financial performance, and support budgeting.
• Produce regular financial reports and budget forecasts.
• Support ecommerce finance, including inventory tracking and cost‑of‑goods‑sold analysis.

Required profile

• Highly autonomous and detail‑oriented with a systems‑mindset.
• Experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, and finance operations.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, founder‑led environment.
• Ability to manage multiple systems, platforms, and workflows independently.
