Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the company’s financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance activities. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure accurate financial information and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, produce ongoing forecasts and analyse variances against actual results.
• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable and payroll.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare projections and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, focusing on profitability, cost control and ROI.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering collaboration across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CPA, CMA or MBA a plus).
• 3–7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
