Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the finance function, overseeing reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance. Working closely with senior management, the role drives financial performance and supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, produce ongoing forecasts and analyse variances against targets.
• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable and payroll, and coordinate external audits and tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare projections and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Provide financial analysis on profitability, cost control and ROI to support business decisions.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring effective cross‑department collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CPA, CMA or MBA a plus).
• 3‑7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
